Lesbian festivals in the USA
1. Dinah Shore Weekend – Palm Springs, California
Club Skirts Dinah Shore Weekend is what lesbians more commonly call “The Dinah.” This festival is first on the list for a reason. It is the most famous and biggest lesbian party in the world. It is so famous in the community that it is attended by over 10,000 women, including celebrities – Lady Gaga was spotted in the crowd a few years ago, just saying. Five days of club parties, pool parties, theme parties… in short, lesbian parties everywhere. But also concerts, comedy shows, sporting events and much more.
Do you want to meet new people or have fun with thousands of other women like you? Dinah is the event to attend at least once in a lifetime.
Where and when? It has been held every year – for thirty years – in Palm Springs, California, between late March and early April.

2. Krave Spring Break – Palm Springs, California
While many girls are celebrating the Dinah Shore, you can find a “smaller” group of lesbians attending the Krave Spring Break lesbian festival. The Krave is held in a Palm Springs hotel and lasts for a weekend, often the same as the Dinah Shore. Here you will find a crowd of women of all ages, ready to dance, party, drink and take a dip in the pool.
Where and when? Krave lesbo fest is celebrated in Palm Springs, California, between March and April, just like the Dinah. It lasts for three days.

3. Aqua Girl – Miami, Florida
On the other side of the United States, there is the largest one-week nonprofit lesbian festival in Florida. In fact, all festival proceeds are managed by the Aqua Foundation for Women, which supports the wellness of the lesbian, bisexual and transgender community in South Florida. For this reason, it feels even better participating in the Aqua Girl. Get ready for lesbian pool parties, Miami-style Latin music and beautiful girls everywhere.
Where and when? Every year in Miami in October for five days. In Florida, temperatures are warm during the fall, so get your bikinis ready!

Acqua Girl isn’t the only women-only event in Miami. There are many other lesbian festivals such as the Fling Women’s Pride Weekend during Miami pride in April. For three days, women from all over celebrate big in South Beach. Further down in Key West there is the Womenfest, which occurs in September for four consecutive days. This is the southernmost lesbian party celebrated in the States.
4. Girls in Wonderland – Orlando, Florida
Girls in Wonderland is the largest lesbian festival in Orlando, Florida. Either because it’s fun or takes place in Orlando, this celebration is affectionately called the “lesbian Disneyland.” If you are looking for a nice summer festival, you can’t miss the Girls in Wonderland pool parties.
Where and when? In the summer, more precisely in June, in Orlando. The events are held on a weekend from Thursday to Sunday.

5. Single Women’s Weekend – Provincetown, Massachusetts
As we’re aware, Provincetown is one of the most lesbian-friendly places on the planet. It is not surprising that there are several lesbian events held there throughout the year.
The Single Women’s Weekend in particular is perfect for women looking for love, friendship and/or networking. During the festival there is no shortage of speed meetings, lesbian night parties and much more. A brilliant idea for single lesbians looking for love!
Where and when? The Single Women’s Weekend is held every year in Provincetown, Massachusetts, on a May weekend.

6. Girl Splash – Provincetown, Massachusetts
Another interesting lesbian festival held in Provincetown is the Girl Splash. It takes place at the height of summer at the end of July. A massive number of events are held during the week, all dedicated to the female audiences. Whale sightings, bonfires, dancing nights, comedy shows, and so much more. Here is the link to the page.

7. She Fest – San Diego, California
One of the best lesbian festivals is the She Fest, which takes place during San Diego Pride. It’s a branch of Pride dedicated exclusively to HER. You’ll find workshops, community connections and many other entirely-free activities to celebrate queer women and women in general.
Where and when? This lesbian party is held in July, during Pride in North Community Park, San Diego.

8. Back Lot Bash – Chicago, Illinois
The Back Lot Bash was born in 2004 due to the lack of events in Chicago that celebrate the lesbian and queer women community. Over the years, the event has grown. Thanks to the help of local businesses and partners, it has become an event that gathers over 6000 participants from all over the midwest.
Where and when? This lesbian festival takes place during the Chicago Pride Week in June and lasts for four days.

9. Plezzure Island – South Padre Island, Texas
If you are in Texas you need to check out the Plezzure Island party. Four amazing days where lesbians take over an entire resort. This festival is quite new. It has only been held for a few years and yet it attracts around 1000 queer women from all over America.
Where and when? The resort is located on South Padre Island, Texas, and the festival is held on a weekend in September.

10. ClexaCon – Las Vegas, Nevada
ClexaCon is not exactly a festival, it is more of an entertainment convention for lesbians, bisexuals, non-binary people, fans and creators. During the convention you can explore workshops, charity and events. You will also have the opportunity to meet & greet with actors, producers, writers, etc. The aim is to celebrate queer characters in films, books and all types of media.
Where and when? ClexaCon takes place every year since 2017 in Las Vegas, Nevada and is a four-day lesbian festival. For more information on the dates, visit the official website.

Lesbian festivals in Europe
1. Girlie Circuit – Barcelona, Spain
The first on the list is the Girlie Circuit in Barcelona organized by the Matinee Group, who also manage the Gay Circuit. It is the largest lesbian festival in Europe and also one of the world’s best lesbian festivals. There are parties every night for five consecutive days, and every party takes place in a different venue in the city.
The opening day is the best one with a lesbian pool party going on throughout the day. During the week they plan several other outdoor activities and fun events.
Where and when? The festival takes place every August in the beautiful city of Barcelona.

2. Velvet Ibiza – Ibiza, Spain
Spain never disappoints us with its abundance of inclusive events for the entire LGBT community. Velvet Ibiza is proof of this. It’s a five-day festival for lesbians where your only concern will be to have fun! Pool parties every day, music and cocktails all in one resort on Ibiza island. What more could you want from life?
Where and when? Velvet Ibiza takes place in Ibiza every year generally in May and lasts 5 days.

3. L-Fest – United Kingdom
The L-Fest has been going on for over 10 years and is the UK’s largest lesbian festival. It has gone from being a multi-sport event to being a real festival dedicated to art, music and entertainment – a cultural experience and event.
Where and when? Uk celebrates L-Fest every year during a weekend in July.

4. Eressos International Women’s Festival – Lesbos, Greece
In the exact place where Sappho poetess was born and wrote poems about the love between women, you can attend one of Europe’s most popular lesbian festivals. It is the Eressos International Women’s Festival, where freedom of expression is guaranteed to all queer women who decide to visit the village. Everyone is welcome. Single women, couples, rainbow families, and more. It is proudly a queer festival for everyone.
Where and when? It takes place in Skala Eressos, a little town on the island of Lesbos, in September. It lasts a whole week.

5. Ella Summer Festival – Mallorca, Spain
The Spanish lesbian festival “Ella Summer” has existed for almost 10 years and is still one of the most popular lesbian parties around the world. It was born from the need to give visibility and solidarity to queer women worldwide.
The organizers have found so much success that they have decided to recreate the same festival in different parts of the world, not only in Europe. This is how Ella Davos, Ella France, Ella Colombia, Mexico, and Costa Rica were born.
Where and when? The Ella Summer Festival takes place every year on the island of Mallorca, Spain. It lasts for a week.

6. Ella Davos – Switzerland
This is one of the many events from the organizers of Ella Festival. This event in particular, takes place in the Swiss Alps in the winter season. So it’s a bit different from the other lesbian summer parties. Expect chalets, cheese fondues, skiing and tons of snow.

Lesbian Parties in the rest of the world
1. Ella Festival – Colombia, Mexico and Costa Rica
As mentioned, the European organizers of Ella Festival wanted to bring the event abroad! They perfectly succeeded with three Latin American countries: Colombia, Mexico and Costa Rica.

2. L-Fest del Mar – Punta Cana, Dominican Republic
The English L-Fest plants its flag in the tropics too! A similar event, but with a Latin rhythm took shape in the Dominican Republic. This one-week long lesbian festival will be all about relaxation, weather caliente and music.

3. Gay Prides – All over the world
All Prides are lesbian festivals in some way. Although Pride is not an exclusive women’s party, it is still a time of inclusiveness for all queer participants!
